Blood Tribe members aged 18 and over who are currently living away from the community or are not able to access locations where the survey is being conducted are invited to take part in this online survey.
On December 9, 2015 the Blood Tribe electorate voted to accept the Bombing and Gunnery Range Claim Settlement Agreement and the Trust Agreement. The settlement was for the illegal use of Blood Tribe lands from 1941-1945 by the Department of Defense; the compensation was in the amount of $5,869,573.00. The Trust Agreement set out the use of the funds which would be to go toward the construction of 1 or more community facilities.
Council had indicated at the time that there would be a community survey to provide for input from tribal members as to which capital facility would be supported by the settlement amount. This survey provides you that opportunity for input. Thank you for your participation.
