On May 10th the Kainai Market Place, began a hiring program to employee members of the Blood Tribe for the New Super Market located Standoff. The Job Fair was held at the Red Crow Community College (old saipoyi) Gymnasium. Resumes were accepted for all positions and job training information was available to the applicants.

On May 5th the Blood Tribe Department of Health Diabetes Program hosted the “Kainai Diabetes Walk” which was held in the Community of Moses Lake. The theme of the event was “Drop The Pop”.
