Members of the Blackfoot Confederacy gathered at the Galt Museum on September 19, for a Land Mark ceremony, marking Blackfoot traditional territory. A stone marker signifying the four tribes of the Siksikaitsitapi – Akainai, Siksika, Piikani and Amskapipikuni – was built ahead of the 16th Annual Blackfoot Confederacy Conference.

The Multipurpose Building in Standoff was host to a successful Back to School clothing exchange on Saturday September 10th. The event was sponsored by Charging Horses Inc. Kainai Board of Education, First Nation Student Success Program, Dr. Esther Tailfeathers, Dr. Jim Tailfeathers, Dr. Shey Eagle Bear and Tim Tailfeathers. Food and entertainment was also provided.
