Service Delivery
Blackfoot Resource Hub helps individuals and families by:
- Providing a non-judgmental and wholistic approach to helping by practicing Kimmapiiyiptssini.
- Making the Blackfoot Culture more easily accessible through monthly cultural programming to help achieve wellness and healing.
- Connecting Indigenous families & individuals to community social supports that will help their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
- Connection to Blackfoot Elders and knowledge holders.
- Connection to Traditional Blackfoot ceremonies such as face painting, sweat lodge ceremonies, and smudge and prayer.
- Cultural programming facilitated by Blackfoot Elders.
- Land based activities.
- Home visitation cultural support.
- Help individuals and families navigate the current community social supports in the City of Lethbridge such as housing support, schooling and addiction supports.
- Connect clients with culturally appropriate supports that will help achieve/maintain wellness and healing.
