Service Delivery

Blackfoot Resource Hub helps individuals and families by:

  • Providing a non-judgmental and wholistic approach to helping by practicing Kimmapiiyiptssini.
  • Making the Blackfoot Culture more easily accessible through monthly cultural programming to help achieve wellness and healing.
  • Connecting Indigenous families & individuals to community social supports that will help their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
  • Connection to Blackfoot Elders and knowledge holders.
  • Connection to Traditional Blackfoot ceremonies such as face painting, sweat lodge ceremonies, and smudge and prayer.
  • Cultural programming facilitated by Blackfoot Elders.
  • Land based activities.
  • Home visitation cultural support.
  • Help individuals and families navigate the current community social supports in the City of Lethbridge such as housing support, schooling and addiction supports.
  • Connect clients with culturally appropriate supports that will help achieve/maintain wellness and healing.
