Moses Lake:

• Moses Lake Little League Baseball registrations are still open. Organizers are especially looking for players in the ages 13 – 18 years-old division. • The Moses Lake Community Clean-Up will be held on May 24^th, 2025, from 9 am – 3 pm. The Town of Cardston will also be participating.

Levern

• The Levern Community Clean-Up will be held on May 31^st, 2025, from 9 am – 3 pm.

Blood Tribe Opioid Response Update 

• The Blood Tribe Opioid Response will be hosting free Grief & Loss Workshops at Levern Hall on April 10^th, 17^th, & 24^th. Workshops will take place from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. Presenters include Blake Tailfeathers and Chantelle Day Chief, and will also feature guest Dr. Esther Tail Feathers. Exercises will be aimed at helping individuals process grief and emotions in healthy ways. • The Blood Tribe Opioid Response Update and Service Delivery webpage is now live at Bloodtribe.org. The webpage includes on and off-reserve addictions and mental health resources and services available to Blood Tribe members. We are all in this battle against the opioid crisis together. “Stay strong and stay safe. Niitsitapi ”

Old Agency

• Old Agency will hold their Community Clean-up on June 7^th, 2025, tentatively from 9 am – 3 pm. Please check bloodtribe.org or the next All Communities Committee Meeting Report for confirmed times.

Blood Tribe Recreation & Parks

• The 2025 Kainai Diabetes Walk/Run registrations are currently open. The 2 km and 5 km events will take place on May 7^th, 2025, at The Kainai Multi-Purpose Building in Standoff, AB. Registrations will close on April 10^th so act soon. For registration details and more information please visit the Blood Tribe Department of Health website at btdh.ca or call The Kainai Diabetes Program at 403 – 737 – 3933.
• Blood Tribe Recreation & Parks are seeking youth vendors for the 2025 Kainai Diabetes Walk/Run. For those interested please contact Lydia Mistaken Chief, Program Supervisor, at 403 – 360 – 4945.

Standoff

• Volunteers are sought for May 2025 community clean-ups. The Standoff clean – up is scheduled for May 17^th, 2025, in Moses Lake for May 24^th, 2025, and in Levern for May 31^st, All clean-ups will take place from 9 am – 3 pm. The Blood Tribe Opioid Response and workers from Blood Tribe Public Works will be on-site to assist with safe needle and sharps disposal. Community members are invited to help keep our communities safe and beautiful by coming out and participating.
• The next Blood Tribe Spay and Neuter Clinic for Pets will be held May 2^nd – 4^th at The Kainai Sports Centre. Animal drop-off will take place on Friday and Saturday. Treated animals can then be picked up on Sunday.
• The next Standoff Committee meeting will be held on May 5th, 2025, at 5 pm at The Kainai Multi-Purpose Building.
