Update: Old Agency Water Main Repairs Completed with Temporary Boil Water Advisory in Place for Affected Households
As of Thursday October 1, 2026, maintenance crews completed repairs on the Old Agency water main, and service is now restored. However, please be advised that a temporary boil water advisory will be in place for affected households. In addition, the Old Agency water truck fill-station will remain closed until the boil water advisory is lifted. Blood Tribe members are
asked to use the fill-stations in Standoff, Levern, and Moses Lake. Crews are currently working with environmental public health officers to test and monitor drinking water quality. Please follow all safety guidelines while this advisory is in place. Once tests confirm that water is safe to drink
and use the temporary advisory will be lifted. Visit the Blood Tribe Department of Health or the Indigenous Services Canada websites to check the status of this advisory. Or you can visit the Bloodtribe.org website, Blood Tribe App, and our social media accounts for further updates regarding this issue. We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time. For questions or concerns, please contact
Blood Tribe Public Works at (403) 737 – 2540.
