Pink Shirt Day is an annual anti-bullying campaign that began in 2007. We here at Blood Tribe Administration proudly wear pink today to raise awareness, show support for victims, and celebrate inclusivity. Together we can nurture a sense of belonging where we live, work, and go to school in harmony. It all starts with a small gesture, a word of encouragement, to show support for others through understanding. Be kind, show your support, and together we can stand up against bullying. Today we wear pink to show our support for a healthy Kainai!
Kimmapiiyipitssini – Compassion
Compassion is central to Kainai relationships and is the motivation behind the peacekeeping traditions such as counseling, advice, and encouragement. All intended to keep the harmony, the balance and the order with the best interests in mind for family, clan and the Tribe as a whole.
