Please be advised that over the next 4 months, a team of Census workers, mostly composed of Tribal members, will be visiting every household on the Blood Reserve to conduct a population count for the Federal Government, either during working hours or outside working hours (evenings and weekends).
All information acquired through the Census will be kept private.
Government of Canada Census workers have received authorization from Blood Tribe Administration to come onto the Blood Reserve to conduct their work.
All Census workers will carry the Blood Tribe Lands Department vehicle tags to show they are authorized to travel throughout the Blood Reserve.
REMEMBER: if you are unsure of the people who arrive at your house, you can request that they show proper documentation so you can identify who you are dealing with and ensure they are legitimate workers.
