Oki,
To the members of the Blood Tribe we here at Public Works sympathize with our members and entire community as we are dealing with difficult times. In dealing with the current Pandemic, Public Works has always been deemed an essential service. We will remain open but limit the traffic at our office we will continue to have our receptionist answer phones as regular hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. we will continue to provide service in the areas of the following:
- Snow Removal
- Water Delivery
- Water Distribution (Rural/Community)
- Garbage Pick Up
Please keep in mind we have 6 graders, 5 water trucks, and 2 garbage trucks, it is a huge under-taking but we will remain open to try an avoid any disruption. All my staff are working hard to continue with snow removal that started Friday along with water delivery that continued throughout the weekend and still moving today. Thanks to my entire staff who are providing service and will continue to do so for the members of the Blood Tribe.
Please take into consideration to try and conserve water by limiting items like laundry and excessive water consumption. We understand some families have multiple members living all under one roof so we will try our best, so nobody does without. Try to stock up on drinking water and food just as a precaution. As a reminder we will remain open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to continue to serve the members of the Blood Tribe. Our office number is 403-737-2540.
Regards,
Joe L. Healy
