To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Dr. Deena Hinshaw has recently suggested that any Albertan who has attended any public protests in the province, this past week to go and get themselves tested.
To listen to Dr. Deena Hinshaw’s Public Address from June 8, 2020 please click on the link below.
Due to the recent increased infections of COVID-19 and social gatherings, Blood Tribe health officials and leadership would also like to see Dr. Hinshaw’s recommendation followed as well whether or not you’re experiencing symptoms.
They would also like to remind members that it’s very important to continue to follow all COVID-19 safety measures to keep each other safe, especially our vulnerable population of Elders and children.
To get yourself or loved ones tested, you can contact the Mobile Medical Unit in Standoff at (403) 737-8411 to set up a time to have this done. For anyone living off-reserve in surrounding communities you can contact these facilities listed below.
