Community Notice – Blood Tribe Comprehensive Community Plan

To build a better reserve for years and generations to come, the Blood Tribe is in the process of developing a new Comprehensive Community Plan that will guide the future development of Stand Off, Levern, Old Agency, and Moses Lake.

To help define a vision for the Comprehensive Community Plan, the planning committee is looking for help in acquiring feedback, through different engagement opportunities, from the broader Blood Tribe Community.

Currently, an online survey for the Comprehensive Community Plan is available for members to complete on the home page of the Blood Tribe Administration’s website.

The survey is anonymous, and the input from Tribal members is appreciated and significant for the future planning and development of the Blood Reserve. All results collected from the survey will be analyzed together.

The objective of the Comprehensive Community Plan is to bring together projects that have taken years of hard work by members, staff, and leadership and combine them with new design strategies to form a planning framework that represents Kainai values and perspectives. This way, there will be a developed process for laying the groundwork to build future projects and a strategy on how the communities can work together to support each other to achieve the outcomes that make up the Comprehensive Community Plan.

For future community engagement notifications, please check bloodtribe.org or visit the Blood Tribe Communications Facebook page.

Thank you, and we look forward to your input!
