September 8, 2020 – Program cancelled. Blood Tribe Employment and Skills Training is currently accepting registration from Tribal members for their Tiny Home Project/Program.
The training program will consist of a total of 21 weeks. There will be 10 weeks of training in class, with another 10 weeks dedicated to building the tiny home, and a week of cultural awareness.
Participants will learn construction skills, like carpentry, plumbing and electrical, which will provide them with an idea of what trades path they may want to pursue after completing the program.
Any student who takes the program will receive an opportunity to take the AIT (Apprenticeship and Industry Training) test, so they will have the ability to pursue any field in the trades industry properly.
The deadline to register for this program is Friday, September 4, 2020.
