Due to the increase of active COVID-19 cases on the Reserve over the past two weeks, some new safety measures have been implemented by the Blood Tribe Emergency Management Team.
To ensure we as a Tribe continue to help bring our active COVID-19 case numbers back down like we have over the past few days, the Blood Tribe Emergency Management Team wants to remind you to be like Super Bo and his Nuppet friends and follow these safety practices. (Wear a Mask/Wash your Hands/Sanitize/Stand Apart)
Chief Medical Officer for the province of Alberta, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, would also like to see everyone limit or avoid unnecessary visiting with people outside your regular bubble (cohort) since this is one of the ways COVID-19 is being transmitted from one to another.
Please remember, if you do need face masks to keep you and your loved ones safe while out in public, you can still pick them up for free at various business and work locations on the Reserve.
Only through a collective effort can we fight the COVID-19 virus and keep each other safe, so let’s continue to work together to accomplish this goal while also being compassionate at the same time.
Stay Strong and Safe,
