Blood Tribe Police Service Investigating Shooting That Occurred in Stand Off, Alberta

On March 22, 2021 at 3pm the Blood Tribe Police Service were called to a residence in Standoff, where they discovered a man with significant injuries to his leg. The injuries are believed to be a result of a firearm. The victim was transported by EMS to the hospital, reportedly in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and police have taken persons of interest into custody. Police believe this is a targeted incident and there is no immediate danger to the public.
