NOTICE OF AMENDED (UPDATED) CURFEW
FROM 11:00 PM TO 6:00 AM
Blood Tribe Chief and Council have announced a time change of the existing curfew to 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM in the communities of Standoff, Moses Lake, and Levern and generally on the Blood Reserve.
As a result of the current COVID-19 crisis, a State of Emergency has been declared on the Blood Reserve by Blood Tribe Chief and Council and a curfew will now be in force to minimize the risk of community transmission especially in the townsites.
Effective immediately Blood Tribe members of all ages must stay at home between the hours of 11:00 pm to 6:00 am unless they are with a parent or other care giver in the communities of Standoff, Moses Lake and Levern and generally on the Blood Reserve.
At the direction of Blood Tribe Chief and Councillors and the Director of Emergency Management, this curfew will be monitored by both the Blood Tribe Foot Patrol as well as the Blood Tribe Police and any youth found out during the curfew shall be sent home. Further enforcement provisions will be put into place if required.
All Blood Tribe members are being requested to assist in ensuring that this curfew is followed and that we keep our youth and other community members safe during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Please continue to practice physical distancing and following all medical advice including washing hands and staying home as much as possible, even outside of the curfew hours.
