Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Re: Transition to On-Line Learning
At a meeting held on October 7, 2021, involving Director of Emergency Management, First Nations Inuit Health Branch, Blood Tribe Health Department and Dr. Tailfeathers. It was recommended that all Kainai Board of Education (KBE) schools transition to on-line learning effective Tuesday, October 12, 2021, to Tuesday, October 19, 2021. KBE will comply with the recommendation.
Students are not permitted in the schools during this time. School staff will be in the schools to conduct on-line learning classes. Principals and teachers will contact students, parents/caregivers to facilitate the transition from in-person learning to on-line learning.
KBE encourages all community members to adhere to the recommended Covid-19 safety protocols, avoid large social gatherings outside of your cohort and get tested for Covid-19 if you or your family members exhibit any Covid-19 symptoms.
