Blood Tribe Police Service seized suspected fentanyl and weapons in Standoff – January 17, 2023

On January 16, 2023, police were investigating a complaint of a suspicious person in the community of Standoff, Alberta, which resulted in the arrest of one male. The male was found to be in possession of 5 grams of suspected fentanyl, prohibited weapons, and carrying a concealed replica firearm.

23-year-old Tyrik Mark GOOD RIDER of Standoff, Alberta has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl, possession of a prohibited weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon.

GOOD RIDER had his bail hearing and was subsequently released to appear in Cardston Provincial Court in February.
