BTPS and RCMP joint operation results in seizure of drugs
The Blood Tribe Police Service Drug Task Force conducted a joint forces CDSA operation with the RCMP Southern Alberta District (SAD) Crime Reduction Unit (CRU).
On June 29th, 2023, BTPS Drug Task Force Unit and the RCMP CRU executed a Search Warrant on a residence located on the Blood Tribe.
As a result of the Search Warrant, 22 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine (street value, $4,400), $3358.25 dollars Canadian Currency, and one vehicle were seized.
Darren Manuel SMALL EYES, 53, of the Blood Tribe, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Property/Proceeds obtained by crime.
SMALL EYES was brought before a JP and released to appear in Cardston Provincial Court on July 31st, 2023.
