PE-NA-KONM Wind Energy
The Kainai/Blood Tribe and EDF Renewables Canada Inc. (EDF Renewables Canada), on behalf of the Kainai Pe-na-koyim Renewable Energy Centre Limited Partnership (Kainai Pe-na-koyim REC LP), would like to introduce the proposed Pe-na-koyim Wind Project the Project) currently under development. The Project is entirely located within the Kainai/Blood Tribe Reserve #148 lands and is proposed with a total project capacity up to 300 megawatts (MW).
The Project is currently in the planning stage and details are subject to change. Kainai Pe-na- koyim REC LP is committed to keeping stakeholders informed as the Project progresses.
As part of the engagement process, Kainai Pe-na-koyim REC LP would like to invite you to the Project’s Community Open Houses, to be held on Reserve and off Reserve (see details to the right). The Open Houses will provide the opportunity to ask questions about the Project and meet the Project team members.
