Our Community Immunization Clinic takes place today from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. at Community Health in Standoff.
Measles cases have been confirmed in the region. If you’re not fully immunized and visited certain Lethbridge locations recently, you may be at risk.
High-risk individuals include:
- Children under 5
- People with weakened immune systems
- People who are pregnant
Over 90% of those not immune to measles will become infected if exposed.
Who should get the MMR vaccine?
- Infants 6–11 months (early dose)
- Children 12 months and older (2 doses needed)
- Adults born in or after 1970 (2 documented doses required)
- Adults born before 1970 may need 1 dose if no history of measles or vaccine
