Social Development Children’s Festival 2025

On Saturday September 6th, 2025, Blood Tribe Social Development held a ‘Children’s Festival’ for the clients in the Aiyiikakimaop for Children program (AFC). This took place at Red Crow Park in Standoff, AB.

The afternoon consisted of games, face painting, giveaways, and gave the children a chance to be with their peers. Jamie Sweetgrass, Kainai Community Patrol Supervisor helps plan these events and gets all Social Development staff together to help host the event and to give back to the community.

“We hold these events to give back to our community and our clients,” said Sweetgrass.

The day ended with smiles and laughter from all the children, parents, and staff.
